Last updated: January 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using TrueStatus ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you are prohibited from using the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Account Terms & Data Retention

  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. TrueStatus cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. We do not have access to your raw password data.
  • Inactive Free Accounts: To maintain system performance, Free Plan accounts that have been inactive for a period of six (6) months or longer will be considered abandoned. TrueStatus reserves the right to permanently delete abandoned accounts and all associated data (projects, photos, client logs) from our databases. This action is irreversible.
  • Registration: You must provide a valid email address and legal business name to complete the signup process.

3. Plans & Storage

  • Free Plan: 50 MB total storage per account. Per-file max 50 MB. All features (photos, voice notes, project archive) are included.
  • Pro Plan: 10 GB total storage per account. Per-file max 300 MB. All features included.
  • Enterprise Plan: Unlimited storage subject to a fair-use policy. Per-file max 500 MB. Excessive or abusive use may be contacted and restricted; see fair-use below.

4. Payments & Refund Policy

  • No Refunds: All payments made to TrueStatus for Pro or Enterprise subscriptions are final and non-refundable. This applies to both monthly and annual plans, regardless of usage.
  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, you will retain access until the end of your current billing cycle, and no pro-rated refunds will be issued for the remaining time.
  • Downgrades: If you downgrade from a paid plan to a free plan, you may lose access to storage capacity or historical data beyond the free limit. TrueStatus does not accept any liability for such loss.

5. Fair Use (Enterprise)

Enterprise plans include unlimited storage under a fair-use policy. We may contact you if we detect excessive or abusive use (e.g., use far beyond typical business needs, reselling storage, or automated bulk uploads that impact system performance). We reserve the right to restrict or cap usage in such cases after reasonable notice.

6. User Conduct & Legality

You agree that you will not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, usernames, graphics, photos, profiles, audio, and video clips ("Content") that you submit, post, and display on the Service.

TrueStatus strictly prohibits the use of our platform for:

  • The sale or promotion of illegal goods or services.
  • Fraudulent activities, scams, or misleading claims.
  • Hosting malicious software or viruses.

Violation of this section will result in the immediate termination of your account without notice and without refund.

7. Tracking Links & Confidentiality

TrueStatus provides "Tracking IDs" and public links intended to be shared with your customers. You acknowledge that:

  • Public Access: Anyone with the Tracking ID or link can view the project status and uploaded media. It is your responsibility to share these links securely with your intended recipients.
  • Liability Waiver: TrueStatus is not responsible for any leaked information, project details, or media resulting from the sharing, guessing, or interception of these Tracking IDs.
  • Data Ownership: You retain ownership of all data you upload. TrueStatus does not monitor, sell, or claim ownership of your client data.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TrueStatus, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
  • Any content obtained from the Service; and
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
